I am earths
creation a youngin so to speak just trying to leave a mark that will scream “I
was here”, from birth we as the youth have always been told we are tomorrows
presidents the pilots to our own success the Oprah Winfreys of yet to air talk
shows. The early prophecies that our parents instilled from a young age are
they really what we were destined to be and do our means as the youth justify
the means? And to what extent are we allowed to pursue the dream without losing
sight of whats important which is to ensure that we leave a legacy.
I came I saw
I will conquer the motto in which many of the youth in East London are steady
trying to adopt and live. A lot of our youth are swiftly moving towards their
dreams and with money and having a comfortable life being the driving force who
can stand in our way? many of our fellow youngins are moving and shaking trying
to leave a mark, with jobs being more and more scarce the youth have tapped in
the ownership market whereas they want to own their own business and create jobs that will see a better and
more vibrant South Africa. East London a small city that buzzes with potential from
up and coming young minds who not only want to put their city on the map but
themselves from young brothers owning events companies such as Flavio
Entertainment by Sapeta Nini to clothing labels as evident with the Boyxin and
Girlxin movement by self proclaimed fashionista Bathandwa Ntsangani just to
mention a few. Our mark is slowly but surely being imprinted WORLD STAND UP and
take notice.
“ We cannot
always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the
future” Franklin D Roosevelt.
